What is Pony Club?
Pony Club is a Non-for-Profit Incorporated organization for youth, dedicated to educating members about horsemanship through education sessions and riding opportunities. Pony Club helps riders develop their knowledge of horses and riding skills, all while meeting people who share the same passion.
Pony Club is home to thousands of boys and girls within 140 club branches/Centres throughout Canada. Many Olympians from Canada got a head start on their passion through Pony Club!
Pony Club welcomes riders from age 6 to age 25. You can even join as a Horsemaster if you are over 25. Pony Club offers a positive experience for equine enthusiasts to learn responsibility, sportsmanship, develop character and gain lifetime friends through the enjoyment and/or competitive success with horses.
Pony Club is not just for ponies! All horses are welcome. There are many disciplines the members can participate and compete in throughout the show season. If you don't have your own horse there are many education opportunities outside of riding.
